• The Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) is conducted both in Japan and outside Japan to evaluate and certify the language proficiency of primarily non-native speakers of Japanese. The test is administered by the Japan Foundation, outside of Japan and Japan Educational Exchanges and Services, inside Japan.

      The Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) which was modified in 2010, measures communicative competence required to perform tasks. Not only on a learner’s knowledge of vocabulary and grammar, but also on their Japanese comprehension at using the knowledge in practical communication will be tested.

      The Japan Foundation, Manila offers “Interactive Lecture & Exercises” where one can try answering the JLPT questions in the past 2 years. Explanation will be given on how the new test differs from the previous JLPT. This is open to those who plan to take level N4, N3, or N2.
