For this session, the lecturer -Ms. Joselyn Chua Carag, a Japanese-language Teacher at the Nihongo Center Foundation, Inc., and a grantee of the Japan Foundation’s “2011Long-Term Training Program for Foreign Teachers of the Japanese Language”, will do a presentation on what she has learned and experienced during the program. Shewill introduce John Keller’s ARCS Model, or the four steps in promoting and sustaining motivation in the learning process: Attention, Relevance, Confidence, and Satisfaction.
