• The Japan Foundation, Manila conducts a wide range of activities in introducing the different facets of Japanese culture. Activities/projects that deepen the understanding and appreciation of Japan include invitations extended to different cultural groups; workshops on human exchange programs that are directed towards personnel development and self-reliance are also undertaken.

      Get the chance to learn how to use a SOROBAN.*

      A guest lecturer from the International Soroban Diffusion Foundation (ISDF) will conduct a special workshop. This workshop is similar to the one conducted on July 24, 2012.

      *SOROBAN is a traditional Japanese abacus. It is a calculation tool with 5 beads in each column.
